Meet the Pastor

This is our Pastor, Reverend Gregory Decker. Pastor Greg has been with us since 1998. His dedication to his faith and to the church is a strength that we all benefit from. Pastor Greg is married and has a son and daughter.

In addition to his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in both English Bible and Religious Education, he also earned two Master’s Degrees; one in Theology and the other in Religious Education.

His diverse ministry background has included serving as a Youth Pastor, an Administrator of a Christian School, as well as an Associate Pastor. Throughout his ministry he has been involved in providing sound Biblical counseling.

Pastor Decker loves to preach! He is quoted as saying, “The Main Event at Countryside Christian Church is the Preaching & Teaching of God’s Word.” He keeps a focus on the “Great Commission;” developing the spiritual mindset to reach out with the message of the Gospel both near and far. “Countryside loves and supports missionaries because we are a church made up of missionaries.”
Pastor Greg’s heart is to be available to his church family. He wears a pager 24/7 and reminds the church saying, “You bother me, if you don’t bother me.”
